cervical os or covering the os

Normal anatomy of the foetus
- GS is a hypo echoic oval or rounded structure that lies with in the uterine cavity.
- The size & appearances change with time. Embryo is an echogenic structure that appear with in the GS in early pregnancy which increases in size & appearance with time
- Embryo develops in to the foetus & is identified with in the anechoic liquor pool with in the uterus.
- Following foetal organs can be identified.
- Heart,
- spine,
- head etc
- Amniotic sac
- placenta identified
